We’ve a few whiskies reduced at the moment such as the 12 year old single malt Cardhu reserve from £45 down to £25.

I’m not much of a Scotch whisky drinker, i prefer Irish, what whisky does other OPPOs recommend?

That’s some good pricing! A bottle of Laphroaig 10 costs $80 here and Talisker 10 is $105, whereas a direct conversion from GBP to CAD works out to $50 and $72 respectively.

I never buy scotch anymore because it’s so damn expensive here now.

You just need someone to send it privately. ;)

Even that regular pricing....

C $73 for a Talisker 10... LCBO is raping us raw with a 30% markup.

I’m OK on the whiskey front at the moment. I’ m not a big drinker but I do like a solid measure every now and then. I can highly recommend Balblair . Just finished a 1989 bottle which was shared with me last weekend by my wife’s auntie, it was superb. The 2000 is a fair price at the moment at The Whiskey Exchange.

You need to learn from the Maritimers and drive to New Brunswick for your scotch, not quite those prices but pretty close:

I’ve had a few Scotches over the years but wasn’t sure which of these ones to try.

Unfortunately I work with people who know bugger all about whisky other than they had a bad experience when they were 13-14 at a wedding and they never touched it since or, ‘it was expensive, so it must of been good.

I'll see what peaks my interest when I finish work at 6am.

You had me at Laphr oa ig. There are better Scotches out there, but there aren’t ones that I like better than Laphroaig 10. I prefer my w hisky to taste like biting into a burning chunk of peat.

You’ll be right at home with The Ardmore.

Bloody hell it's peat in liquid form. It's the only whisky I've ever poured away.

I settled with a (not on offer) bottle of Tullamore Dew for £20.
